What is the Bellingham Home Fund?

The Bellingham Home Fund is a levy that creates affordable homes for seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and working families. Approved by voters in 2012, the Bellingham Home Fund is building and preserving almost 700 affordable homes for our community! We’ve helped 5,000 of our neighbors with emergency rent assistance and housing support to prevent homelessness.

Everyone should have a home they can afford. We know this is right.

Now, more than ever, we need Bellingham to build on this program’s success. With your 'YES' vote, we can build over 500 additional affordable homes and provide emergency rent assistance to prevent homelessness.

How would the Bellingham Home Fund benefit tenants?

There is a severe shortage of affordable and safe homes in Bellingham, hitting working class tenants hard. Economic success and stability is impossible with an affordable home. Renewing the Bellingham Home Fund will build more affordable homes and help meet the urgent need of renters in Bellingham.

Where can I learn more?

Check out our website at http://bellinghamhomefund.org/ We've got an extensive FAQ section and a lot of information on the projects we've built! You can also endorse the Bellingham Home Fund as an individual and sign up to volunteer. We're going to need everyone's help to win in November!
